Welcome to The Bay Horse at Masham, a traditional Yorkshire pub with good food and rooms.
Located in the beautiful Lower Wensleydale market town of Masham, on the edge of the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Bay Horse has been a welcoming hostelry for over two centuries serving great local food and ales. The Grade Two listed building on Silver Street, just yards from the famous Masham Market Place, offers five en-suite letting rooms two of which are large double rooms and three are standard double rooms. We are an old pub with rooms set over two floors and full of characterful appeal.
The Bay Horse is a hospitable inn with a lounge, snug, and back room. We are dog friendly and welcome our canine friends in the tiled bar area. The Bay Horse is proud of its reputation for serving fine cask ales, brewed locally and conditioned in our cellar. In addition we offer a good selection of keg beers and ciders as well as spirits and premium mixers. The back ‘Yarden’ Courtyard is a convivial place to sit and relax with a cold drink, or a hot one!
Our five, well-appointed and comfortable en-suite letting rooms have showers, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, toiletries, and Smart televisions. A hearty, cooked to order, full English breakfast can be requested or a lighter bite for a smaller appetite. Our produce is locally sourced and collected daily from our butchers and greengrocers.
